Pat Torrence-Kilts was a Professional Trick rider from the 1930s when she started performing as a child. She performed many stunts not regularly accomplished by women in those days. With a trick riding career that spanned through the 1950s, Pat performed at Madison Square Garden and at Radio City Music Hall.
Pat was
inducted in the Cowboy Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2001, had many articles
written about her and has appeared in Life Magazine in 1953 and Western Horseman
who has written three articles on Pat. She also taught her children the art of trick riding who also went on to perform. Pat earned her Bachelor of Science degree and became a P.E. Teacher. Pat passed away in 2011 at the age of 83.
